Sifting Through the Weekend, Coming Up for Air.

Well,  gang,  another weekend has come and gone.  The news must be reported on! Not a slam dunk of a news weekend though....

1. Nerf (yes the one who made the football) has made a Nerf PS2 controller.  Pretty wild I think?  Are people really outhere tossing controllers at people  or so scared playing games they need to knaw on their controls?  I don't know about this one.  You decide!

2. The latest from Rockstar is hitting the shelves.  Bully,  was in a bit of trouble for it's content in Florida and we'll see how much more controversy it will stir up.  If you don't know,  its a game in which you have to go around and cause mischief in a bad school.

3.  A cool news piece from Reuters,  that I was made known of by Joystiq, regards the dance/excercise games that have been coming out lately.  Also,  in other news,  all schools in West Virgina is installing Dance Dance Revolution!

4. Sister/brother networks,  Joystiq, Engadget and PS3 Fanboy,  have info on the new Sony PS3 Network.  It  apparantly is similar to the to XBox Live experiences and Sony is clearly trying to one-up the compitition.

5.  In a big cross-promotion with Toy R Us,  and Deal Or No Deal,  it seems a promotion to giveaway 25,000 Wii consoles is rocking out. The game/give-a-way, seems a little complicated,  but may be worth a shot. Kudos to Kotaku for the heads up.
