Afternoon Things.

Afternoon snacks:

1. Yahoo is setting up a time capsule.

2.  Perhaps as a retort to gootube,  Microsoft and blinx.tv are hooking up

3.  In the what-will they think of next category, laser tv was unvailed today.

What do all these have to do with games?  Well they don't necessarily have anything to do with games,  but they are a part of our lifes that may,  just may take some time away from playing games.  For one,  anything Microsoft does is important and following the industry leader is news in and of itself.  Who knows?  They may be able to link web-based video, Xbox and Windows into one rolled up package!   I actually have a paranoid idea that Microsoft is putting all these devices in our homes and slowly but surely they'll just take over!

As for the laser television,  well that's just cool.  I mean,  if they really can make a higher quality television than a plasma at a lower weight,  than thats great.  Those plasma jabroni's are TOO heavy.  I mean,  how the hell does anyone put one of those things on their wall anyway?
